2020 climate targets : EU on track

The annual report on progress in climate action, published by the European Commission (assisted by the European Environmental Agency) on 28 October, states that the European Union reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 1.8% in 2013 compared with 2012, bringing them to their lowest level since 1990.
