ETSI on cloud standards

The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) has presented a map of standards linked to cloud computing, in other words the preservation of data on various networked IT systems. In a report sent to the European Commission in mid-December 2013, ETSI identifies the main stakeholders and organisations concerned, categorises around a hundred variations of the possible use of cloud computing services, and maps standards and specifications that provide a framework for internet use.
