Fluxys LNG signed a 20-year contract, on 6 March, with Yamal Trade for the transshipment of a maximum of eight million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the future LNG mega-terminal in the Russian Arctic, ie half of Yamal Trade's planned LNG capacity. Yamal Trade is a subsidiary of Yamal LNG owned by Russia's Novatek (60%), China's CNPC (20%) and French group Total (20%). The first deliveries are scheduled for 2017.
