Accidents at work : Court evens out compensation

The EU Court of Justice (ECJ) considers that the compensation given to an employee after an accident at work cannot be influenced by the gender of the worker. It condemns Finnish law, which allows men to receive less compensation on the grounds that statistically they have a shorter life expectancy.
