Farage abandons decision to resign as UKIP leader

Four days after having announced that he was resigning as leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) following his personal failure in the general elections of 7 May, Nigel Farage has finally withdrawn his resignation. Members of UKIP’s national executive committee have in fact unanimously rejected his resignation.
