New global university ranking system

The European Commission applauded, on 13 May, the launch of a new global university ranking system. U-Multirank , set up with funding of €2 million (from the budget for the Education and Lifelong Training programme for the period 2013-2015), assesses the performance of more than 850 higher education institutions worldwide.
