Slight drop in EU unemployment rate

The rate of unemployment in the eurozone was 11.7% in April 2014 – falling from 11.8% in March 2014, and 12% in April 2013, according to figures published by Eurostat, on 3 June. In the EU28, this rate was 10.4% in April 2014, falling from 10.5% in March 2014 and 10.9% in April 2013.
