IMMF calls for int’l approach to tackle “mystery” music deals

The International Music Managers Forum (IMMF) is calling for bilateral action from the US and EU to block “mystery deals”. In an open letter , the forum writes that the lack of transparency about online “source values” prevents creators from knowing how much money they are entitled to, and only once this is achieved can the Commission ensure fair remuneration – as set out in the digital single market (DSM) strategy.
