For the second time, the European Parliament's Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) has postponed a vote on a draft directive on the accessibility of websites of public bodies. MEPs are waiting for the Latvian EU Presidency to be given a negotiating mandate, saying that this is a “matter of transparency" and adding that this does not delay the procedure “since the IMCO committee already voted on the draft in February 2013”.
