The European Parliament's Committee on Transport (TRAN) approved, on 21 February, the compromise worked out before Christmas with the Council of Ministers on the revision of rules on roadworthiness tests for motor vehicles in the EU. The compromise, which still has to be given the green light by the EP plenary in March, introduces roadworthiness tests for motorcycles of more than 125 cm 3 from 2022.
