Single European sky : Misgivings continue

It is a bit ironic to note in the progress report that the states "welcome" the European Commission's intention to clarify the legal framework for the single European sky (SES) and state that they are "strong supporters" of the SES principles. In fact, there has been a good deal of tension on this issue – 23 infringement proceedings have been launched – and the Commission's proposals have sparked serious misgivings (after nearly 18 months there is no agreement in sight).…
