Swissport-Servisair merger cleared

On 18 December, the European Commission cleared the merger between the airport ground and cargo handling service providers Swissport and Servisair. Its approval is conditional on Swissport's divestment of its ground handling activities at Birmingham Airport and Servisair's disposal of ground handling activities at the Helsinki, London Gatwick and Newcastle Airports.
