After five years of interinstitutional negotiations, the revision of the biofuels package has finally been wrapped up. On 14 April, members of the European Parliament's Committee on the Environment (ENVI) gave their approval, by 51 votes in favour, 12 against and one abstention, to the compromise presented by the Council.
