Legislative talks on network information security (NIS) appear to be more blocked than ever. Compromise proposals put on the table by the European Commission on 27 May – which Europolitics has seen – seemed to add fuel to the fire rather than appease the parties, since these proposals enhance the executive's own powers via delegated acts.
