Members of the Committee on Constitutional Affairs (AFCO) adopted, on 17 June, the report by Richard Corbett (S&D, UK) focused on improving the next hearings of commissioners-designate. The procedure, used for the last 21 years but not laid down by the treaties, was put in place due to Parliament's determination and has been fine-tuned over the years.
