The Polish government has decided to endorse the position of MEP Adam Szejnfeld (EPP), who is fiercely critical of the arrangements for introduction of Germany's minimum wage. From Poland's standpoint, apart from doubts about the measure's compatibility with EU law, the German law will have a negative economic impact by hiking transport costs. The government states that the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Estonia, Slovenia and Croatia share its point of view.
